Beginnings

A softer place. Made for early days, small details, and the quiet beginning of everything.

Where it all began

This corner of the homestead began with a shift I didn’t expect — becoming a Meemaw.

There’s something about that role that slows everything down. What matters becomes clearer. What lasts becomes more important.

I found myself wanting to make things by hand again — not for the sake of making, but for the feeling behind it. Pieces that are soft, useful, and meant to be part of real, everyday moments.

As I find myself creating, I will add pieces to the collection. Please reach out if there are any special requests.

A handmade berry-colored crochet dress for a baby or toddler hanging on a wooden hanger in a rustic setting with dried pampas grass and a metal vase in the background.
Hand-crocheted headbands for baby, each with a large colorful crochet flower in red, pink, purple, and green, hanging on a wooden frame with clothespins.
Hand holding small, crocheted baby sandals with brown soles and cream-colored uppers, featuring brown crocheted buckle details
A woven straw children’s hat with a delicate lace tie, resting on a hat stand with a wooden table underneath.
Handmade pink knitted romper for a baby, hanging on a wooden hanger.

How to Use This Corner

You don’t need to prepare for this. You don’t need to get it right.

Move slowly. Notice what draws you in.

Each piece is made with early days in mind — soft, simple, and meant to be part of real moments as they unfold.

Small things, made with care, for a time that passes quickly.

There is nothing to rush here. Only something to hold.
