FAQ
About KK Homestead
What is KK Homestead?
KK Homestead is a collection of thoughtfully made objects designed to support daily life — in the home, in the body, and in moments of beginning. Each piece is created with care, intention, and respect for how it will be used and lived with over time.
Orders & Availability
Do you restock sold-out items?
Restocks happen in small, limited batches. Availability varies by collection. To stay informed, you’re welcome to join the email list or follow along on Instagram for collection announcements.
Can I request a custom piece?
Custom orders are not available at this time. Occasionally, seasonal collections may include one-of-a-kind or limited-edition pieces.
How long does processing take?
Each product page lists its approximate processing time. Most items ship within 3–5 business days, though high-demand periods may extend this slightly.
Shipping & Returns
What is your shipping policy?
Orders ship via standard USPS unless otherwise noted. Tracking information is provided once your order leaves the studio. Shipping is currently available within the United States only.
What is your return or exchange policy?
Because items are made in small batches, returns and exchanges are not offered. If your order arrives damaged or with a quality issue, please reach out through the Contact page so I can make it right.
About the Collections
Home Collection (Decor & Seasonal Goods)
What are KK Homestead baubles made from?
Each bauble is handmade using carefully selected yarns chosen for structure, softness, and an heirloom-caliber finish. Slight variations are natural and reflect the individuality of artisanal work.
How should I care for my bauble?
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not machine wash or dry. Spot-clean gently with a damp cloth if needed.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Each Home Collection piece is intentionally packaged with warm, elevated detail and arrives ready for gifting without additional wrapping.
Body Collection (Hydrosols & Salves)
Are your hydrosols and salves medicine?
No. Body Collection items are not medicines, cures, or replacements for professional care. They are designed for external, everyday support and gentle sensory use.
How are hydrosols used?
Hydrosols are soft, aromatic waters meant to be used intuitively — as a light facial or body mist, for linens, or as a grounding sensory pause throughout the day.
How are salves used?
Salves are oil-based preparations designed to sit on the surface of the skin, offering comfort, protection, and moisture through simple, functional use.
Do Body Collection items have a shelf life?
Because these items are minimally processed, without preservatives, they should be stored with care and used within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 6–12 months when stored properly.. Specific guidance is listed on individual product pages.
Beginnings Collection (Coming Soon)
What is the Beginnings Collection?
The Beginnings Collection is a forthcoming offering focused on pieces made for early life — crafted slowly, with care for softness, safety, and longevity. These items are designed to be kept, gifted, and remembered.
Gifting
Are KK Homestead items suitable as gifts?
Yes. All items are packaged with care and intention, making them well-suited for gifting — whether for a home, a moment of care, or a meaningful beginning.
